This logo was created in 2024 for Africa Film Fest Australia. The client wanted a distinctive visual identity that would celebrate African cinema while reflecting its presence on an international stage.

In the brief, the client expressed a strong connection to the Baobab tree and its symbolic significance. They also mentioned that since the tree is found across multiple African countries, it was identified as a powerful unifying element that could represent the festival's diverse cultural reach and shared heritage.

The final logo incorporates this concept and is supported by a carefully selected colour palette that reflects the festival's vision and values. The resulting identity successfully captured the client's objectives and was enthusiastically approved as the final brand mark.
